We provide high quality, out of school care for children who attend St James's Catholic Primary school.
Clubs run during term time only (excluding Bank Holidays and School Inset Days.)
For children in Reception class and upwards.
Both clubs at St James's offer:
A safe, warm and friendly environment
ICT equipment to use for educational games and homework
Outdoor and indoor activities
Storytime and Reading
Age appropriate recourses
Qualified Sports Coach employed for Physical Activity and Sports
We can provide a place for up to 25 children for Breakfast and After-school Clubs

The Early Starter will give you the option to drop off your child/children at 07.30am at school.
The opening hours for the Early Starter Breakfast Club are 7.30am – 8.45am Monday – Friday.
Children will be dropped off with their teacher at 08.45am.
Price for the Early Starter £8.75 (to include a light breakfast)
The Breakfast Club is situated in the main hall. Please drop off your child at the main hall entrance outside the year 6 area. Please do not enter the school.
The After-school Club option gives your child the opportunity to join us in the Pilgrim Hall.
Children from Reception, year 1, 2 and 3 will be collected from class. Years 4, 5 & 6 will make their own way to the club
The opening hours are 3.00pm-5.30pm Monday – Friday.
The cost for the After-school Early Finisher option is £18 (to include a light afternoon meal.)
Places are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and can be reserved in advance for each day required.
Both clubs options are interchangeable and can also be used on an ad-hoc basis should space be available.
24hr notice should be given for ad-hoc care.
